Zoë Day - Artist
Zoë Day is a published illustrator and professional artist. She exhibits her work throughout the UK and also sells her paintings overseas. Zoë studied Fashion and Textiles at Nottingham Trent University and more recently furthered her skills in Portraiture under BP award winner Alan Ramsey at the Heatherley's School of Art in Chelsea.
She paints mainly in oils and loves figurative work. Painting portraits of musicians with their instruments is her absolute passion as it enables her to combine her love of music (Zoë has played the cello since she was 9) and her skill for painting. Her favourite artists are Peter Doig and Sheree Valentine-Daines.
Zoë is also Joint Head of Buckingham Art School where she teaches portraiture, mixed media classes and various workshops throughout the year.
